The platter is in perfect condition and is totally usable to serve food on.
This pattern is registered with the company with the number 990.
One of several designs incorporating the Sèvres Marbling motif (Reg Design No 646904), along with hand painted flowers on earthenware.
This pattern was sold by the London retailers Maple & Co and Mappin & Webb (see the third image showing the back stamp as its identifier).
Condition is excellent. There are no significant losses to the decoration as seen in the photos.
